Many of the big, competitive traditions take place in the fall, such as The Pull or the Nykerk Cup , but there are many more events that happen every year in the winter and spring. There are bouncy house obstacle courses, mechanical bull riding, a zip-line, good food, and more. The first snow marks the beginning of many traditions.

She organized and hosted an event where students in the school studied their heritage and culture and shared their final products at a community exhibition night. The student studied different local bees, the conditions in which they need to survive, the food they eat, the plants they pollinate, and more.

Students first occupied Fanning Hall, where Bergeron’s office is located, last month after Rodmon King, the dean of institutional equity and inclusion, resigned in protest of the college’s decision to hold a fundraiser at the Everglades Club in Florida, which has a famously discriminatory past.
