To be clear, I have nothing against business or science—we need them both, especially in this brave new world of global pandemics and dramatically diminished state funding for higher education—nor am I afraid of hard work or the need to “produce” as a research scholar. With concurrent or dual enrollment courses, sometimes a publicly funded university, even in the same state, will not accept the community college course credit as equivalent.
