These nondegree programs provide students with valuable skills, and they are especially favorable in industries like technology and medicine, which require significant continuingeducation. Many employers are increasingly viewing nondegree credentials in a positive light. Prepare and coordinate campus resources.
And then the other aspect of outcomes, of course, is outcomes of value in terms of employment and earnings or continuededucation or, you know, better skill in the workplace. So that’s the key thing. It doesn’t lead to skills and competencies. So there’s a whole host of outcomes of value.
From this, we created a new Social Media Learning Model that helps explain how students learn when using this novel technology. Although it is a preliminary model, which warrants further testing and development, it can support future social media based interventions in higher and continuingeducation.
