Many first-generation students rely on their families for emotional support, even if their parents or caregivers lack experience with higher education systems. Universities have an opportunity to engage families in ways that strengthen these bonds.
For over a decade, students have worked alongside staff at the college’s career center to provide professional development help for the larger campus community, part of a long-standing institutional tradition.
Whether it’s refining technical expertise, developing leadership skills, or fostering entrepreneurial spirit, these projects play a crucial role in preparing students for their future careers.
