There are so many services and offices on this campus that I am sure I still do not know what all of them do, or even that they exist, but here are a few that I visit or make use of most often! CampusMinistries is in charge of Chapel and Gathering services , so the worship team that I am on runs through them.
My freshman year, I really wanted guidance while I was working my way through the book of Romans. I had a meeting with Nancy (a Chaplin from CampusMinistries) and expressed the desire for a mentor. For any student that really wants a mentor at Hope College, all you have to do is ask.
My favorite book we read was called Neither Wolf Nor Dog written by a white man who interviews Lakota Indians on the reservation and records their stories. If not for these then go on an immersion trip through CampusMinistries! I would encourage students to volunteer and travel in their time at Hope.
