It's about equipping institutions with the tools to drive change on their campuses, fostering cross-campus collaboration, and ensuring that HBCUs are setting an agenda for higher education innovation, not just responding to it. In my current veterinary medicine degree, I don’t have choices in my coursework, and no general education core courses, but my degree is setting me up for a specific career. While at the Dick Vet, Vikky has enjoyed spending time with the university’s archery club and doing activities for the education certificate.
We have over 23 Nobel Prize winners, 2 Turing Award winners, 1 Abel Prize winner, 1 Fields Medal winner, 2 Pulitzer Prize winners, 3 Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom, 2 currently-sitting UK Supreme Court Justices, and many Olympic gold medallists in our alumni. We all work here together to discover, develop and share knowledge.
