Created in 2005 by Excelencia in Education, Examples of Excelencia is a national initiative that recognizes institutions and nonprofitorganizations that identify, aggregate, and promote evidence-based practices that improve Latinx student access in higher education. and having a financial need of at least $1,000.
Each year, more than 200,000 AmeriCorps service members pledge a year of service at nonprofitorganizations across the country.
