Faith Formation Coming from a public high school education, I’d always been surrounded by nonbelievers in the academic setting. Some moments of my education were definitely difficult for me because my values didn’t align with everyone else’s. Still, I didn’t exclusively apply to Christian colleges.
It has given me an education, put amazing people in my life, and most importantly fostered my faith for the past four years. The new thought that has been on my mind since I last wrote is the fact that I am scared out of my mind to leave this safe little bubble of Hope I’ve called home for the past four years. or Thursday from 7 p.m.–9
There is also the Gathering service every Sunday on campus at Dimnent, and CampusMinistry will also host events for deeper faith formation, including several Bible studies. Benedict Institute on campus offers Catholic mass every day and the sacrament of adoration every Tuesday in St. Additionally, the St.
Among my favorite memories from this year are going to hockey and basketball games with my friends, leading a bible study through campusministries, concluding my two majors with favorite classes, and doing life with my five amazing housemates. And for that, I am grateful.
Meanwhile, as students, church groups, and other volunteers offer their time and skills Remember educates visitors about the tribe’s troubling past, but more importantly their rich culture. If not for these then go on an immersion trip through CampusMinistries! If not for a semester, then for a May, June, or July Term.
I went to a public high school so faith was never discussed in an educational setting. I have had numerous talks about Jesus with my professors and how God plays into my education, a perspective I had never considered before. Hope’s campusministries played the largest part in my faith journey.
