Previous to my assessment role, my experience was solely in residencelife and housing. I developed solid administrative and project management skills which I use more frequently than I anticipated. This helped me develop a broad student affairs generalist perspective.
This included: enrollment management, first-year experience, advising, residencelife, career exploration, and leadership development. I then pursued more opportunities in student involvement and leadership, becoming part of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP).
