In addition to support services that include financial aid and academicadvising, an example of supporting Latinx student success is the CSUSB Impact Internship, developed by the university’s Undocumented Student Success Center. At present, 67% of the student body identifies as Latinx. Morales, president of CSUSB.
They must present evidence of effectiveness in institutional practices serving Latino students. The university restructured to a centralized academicadvising model for the first two years of college, ensuring that advising is consistent across all majors, particularly for the most vulnerable populations.
We recently caught up with AIFS Abroad student Paige, a Criminal Justice major from Niagara University. She spent a spring semester studyingabroad in the capital city of Dublin on our program at Dublin City University. Hear about her academic journey and growth as a studyabroad student at DCU.
The survey aimed to gather insights on various aspects of academic life such as advising, navigating academic paths, accessing and engaging with course materials, as well as identifying obstacles and potential factors that contribute to their success. The findings are graphically presented in the graph below.
