You can be an IB student, but also supplementing with some dual credit coursework through our local communitycollege. Matt Sterenberg (06:54.002) So tell me a little bit more about your partnership with Austin CommunityCollege. Well, the college I went to was like, you need four years of language.
Like, how do I ensure, how do I build those partnerships with communitycolleges? And in some ways, you are creating a system, but it is going to come down to kind of academicadvising, meeting with families. So if I’m sitting there thinking, we’ve got some in dual enrollment at my school district.
And we talked about there’s a lot of students that are attending a communitycollege that want to transfer to another institution, but don’t end up doing it. Eight out of 10 students that go to a communitycollege want to go. So now let’s pivot and let’s think about how we can improve.
And we don’t just say academic anymore. It’s that comprehensive four -year experience that includes the student affairs, leadership, all of those components built into your academicadvising curriculum and built into your co -curricular experiential transcript. The academic advisors have that discussion.
