To support the Widening Participation strategy, and working in partnership with Development and Alumni, the Widening Participation Team and Edinburgh Global, the Careers Service piloted the Insights programme last summer to provide funded opportunities to help 50 Widening Participation students achieve this.

We have a pool of trained alumni who are available both in Edinburgh and abroad, who can help to support students. We invite former alumni too, bringing together various generations of students, to share questions and experiences. Dec 11, 2019 This is where our mentoring program comes in.
Students as Change Agents (SACHA) is a student-led design thinking programme that partners diverse student groups with host organisations to tackle challenges aligned to the University’s research themes and that address the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS).

Jan 9, 2019 Elizabeth has been employed by the University of Edinburgh in policy and research management roles since 2007, in diverse areas such as e-science and carbon capture and storage. In her current role, Elizabeth develops University climate change mitigation, adaptation and biodiversity strategy, implementation plans and reporting.
